Rachel Izen is superb in the demanding role of a writer who can't persuade producers to put on her plays. Felicity Dean is also impressive as failed actress Maxine, while Jos Vantyler's several roles require him to dress up as a woman, sing Oklahoma and show off his naked backside!
Perhaps some of Helene's speeches would have benefited from being shorter and crisper. But my only other criticism was that the programme did not identify which parts the five members of the cast actually played.
