The Royal Oak at Hooksway must rate as one of the most isolated pubs in Sussex. Tucked away down a culde- sac in the wooded western Downs it clearly does not have much in the way of passing trade,
but its remote setting has not meant that either informed visitors have failed to hunt it out...
