This award will recognise the often overlooked, huge contribution that unpaid carers can make both within families, communities and organisations.

Maybe one of your parents selflessly tends to another as well as the rest of the household? Has a carer in a hospice made a big difference to your family?

We want to hear as much detail about your nominations as possible so feel free to send as much information on each nominee as you can think of.

Award winners will be announced at a glitzy awards night held at Theatre Royal Brighton hosted by newsreader Nicholas Owen in October.

You can nominate as many people as you like for as many different awards as you like online.

Nominations must be received by The Argus by August 29.
