Dad of the Year

We want to hear from anybody who would like to nominate an inspiring woman for our Dad of the Year award.

If you know a dad who has done something that has impressed you this year, a father who has overcome adversity or if there is a superdad that you know who manages to be there for everyone then we want to hear from you.

This year more than ever we need you the readers to tell us who you think should win.

This is the first time that The Argus has run this award and we're hoping for plenty of nominations from sons and daughters as well as parents of parents and family friends.

We want to hear as much detail about your nominations as possible so feel free to send as much information on each nominee as you can think of.

We would like to thank Brighton Studio for kindly sponsoring this year's award.

Award winners will be announced at a glitzy awards night held at Theatre Royal Brighton hosted by newsreader Nicholas Owen in October.

You can nominate as many people as you like for as many different awards as you like online.

Nominations must be received by The Argus by August 29.
