Carers Centre would like to say a really big thank you to all the runners and participants who took part in the “Parkrun” at Hove Park on Saturday, February 13. We were invited by the Parkrun organisers to have a fundraising stall on which we had a tombola and loads of lovely Valentine’s cakes, all baked by volunteers. The runners were incredibly generous and we made nearly £200, not bad for an early and very cold February morning.
It genuinely felt that people had the real spirit of Valentine’s on Saturday. Thank you to all the volunteers and parkrunners who made it such a success.
