I am assisting in some research about the package tour of November and December 1967 which included Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Move.

The research is specifically about Jimi Hendrix but it would be great to hear from anyone who remembers the whole package tour. Jimi and the other groups played two shows at the Brighton Dome on Saturday, December 2, 1967.

In the past there have been a few stories from readers of The Argus documenting their “experience”.

If anybody who attended either of the shows would be willing to contact me and have their memories documented I would be very grateful. Any Jimi Hendrix stories would be welcome as he also played at the University of Sussex on November 11, 1967 and in Worthing on February 23, 1967.
