I was reading your article about Simon Cowell potentially getting married in Rottingdean (The Argus, March 2).
As much as his mother would like a local wedding, let’s face it, it would not be practical. The whole of Rottingdean would have to be closed off, which would not go down well with the locals. It’s bad enough when Rottingdean has a small fete! It’s absolute chaos with traffic, and don’t forget his fiancée is divorced so cannot be married in a church, it can only be blessed.
I think his mother will be disappointed as he will probably marry either in a country estate or at his home in the Bahamas.
