I am constantly being told we are living in a selfish, uncaring society but I know this is not always the case. There are many people who do care about other people – I am appealing to them.
I am a carer for an elderly gentleman who has Alzheimer’s.
On Tuesday, March 2, I withdrew some money to pay his carers, but I dropped a wad of notes – £260 in total – somewhere!
The area I was in was around St John the Baptist’s Church in Bristol Road, Queen’s Park and Wellington Road. If anyone picked it up please, please could I have it back – or even some of it. We are desperately trying to keep this gentleman in his own home but it costs a lot of money. Can someone restore my faith in human nature?
