Since we downsized to one car about 18 months ago, I have travelled a lot by bus, at all times of day and on a wide variey of routes.
I am incensed that bus companies have had to spend millions of pounds on wheelchair-accessible buses, yet on not one single journey has anyone got on in a wheelchair on any bus I have used.
So I am paying higher bus fares just to satisfy the politically correct brigade.
