Caravan plan

Instead of all the cost and trouble with travellers on the Madeira Drive site, why don’t we just give them membership of the Caravan Club? It would be so much cheaper.

They could even stay on the site at Sheepcote and their children could go to school. It’s only 300m from Madeira Drive.

What always puzzles me is if they are travellers why don't they travel instead of just parking about in towns?

Yeah, and if aeroplanes are supposed to fly why do I see so many on the tarmac at Gatwick?

And since cars are supposed to drive, how come everyone in my road leaves them stationary all night? Answer me that!

Don't be silly, if they were members of the Caravan Club they wouldn't be allowed to park on the seafront. They only want the best places.

I will 'answer you that' censored. It is quite simple: because the name 'traveller' isn't applied to the vehicle but to its owner.

Perhaps they should be called 'parkers'. They seem to do less travelling than the car drivers you refer to.
