Regarding your article on Saltdean Lido (The Argus, March 13), Arundel is not the only other fully functional lido in Sussex.
We have a fully functional pool in Woodingdean, which I am surprised you seem to have overlooked. This pool is run by volunteers and has been open during the summer months for more than 35 years.
The pool is heated and has a cafeteria, something which Arundel does not have.
While on the subject, we are always looking for new volunteers, and our annual general meeting is at 8pm on April 19 at The Church Of The Holy Cross in Downsway, Woodingdean. We are also looking for a new voluntary chairman. So, if you are community spirited and have a couple of hours a month to spare, please come along.
Caroline Reilly, Sandhurst Avenue, Woodingdean
