I think it was a surprise for Mr Audley just how many residents came to see his proposed plans for the redevelopment of the lido. He must now realise the great affection the people of Saltdean have for the lido.

A few concept drawings was not nearly sufficient information. Mr Audley has now agreed to hold a public meeting in the next few weeks, with a scale model on display and an opportunity for residents to ask questions.

The SCA will publicise this meeting when a date is confirmed.
