If only Brighton and Hove City Council and the police would enforce the law on dog fouling in our streets with the same zest they have for levying parking fines.
There cannot be a mother in the neighbourhood who is not aggrieved when their child, or indeed they themselves, have trodden in dog faeces.
Dog muck can totally ruin a lady’s shoe and, unless detected swiftly, can ruin one’s carpet too!
Lazy owners will only learn the hard way. A few fines please, for the greater good.
