So the current planning application for housing in Durrington has been turned down, much to the delight of Mr Cawson of Adur Avenue (The Argus, March 16).
However, as your leader so rightly pointed out, it is only a very few years ago that the residents of Worthing were equally opposed to the development in which he is quite happy to live.
A typical example of “I have got what I want but now no one else can have the same”. Tesco and the housing around it were lovely green fields not so very long ago.
What short memories some people have.
