Foxes have recently had some bad press. In spite of this, however, a recent poll shows 67% of the public and 293 MPs do not support a repeal of hunting act while only 24% of the public and 216 MPs do.
After all, a child is more likely to be mauled to death by a pet dog than attacked by a fox. There are more humane ways of dealing with problem foxes than having hordes of hounds tearing them apart in the name of sport.
Therefore, the current ban on hunting should not be lifted.
