I was horrified to learn of the appalling cruelty inflicted upon a sheep by some depraved creatures (The Argus, June 26). I hope the police are successful in apprehending them very soon.
I am a great believer in WS Gilbert’s words: “Let the punishment fit the crime.”
In this case, perhaps it should be, do to them what they did to that helpless animal?
