Regarding the impending decision to move this seafront shelter by a metre to avoid the cycling lane (The Argus, July 27): according to your article, this will cost thousands of pounds and many man hours.
Instead of paying out all this money in today’s financial climate, why not block up this entrance? Surely no one actually wants to sit facing the traffic, cyclists and the hotels and shops?
