Give ‘The Shed’ a lick of paint

As Chair of the St. James’s Area Local Action Team (LAT) I was recently asked by Police Sgt Alex Evans to pop along and give advice to the community association based at Craven Vale – and was delighted to do so.

One of the group’s current projects is to paint a mural on the side of the building where they hold their meetings – the Vale Community Centre, known locally as “The Shed”. What is missing, however, is an artist.

The mural has been designed, the wall is ready, paints and equipment will be supplied and nominal expenses paid. The community association is just looking for someone with artistic leanings to step forward.
