Column of hate

WHILE reading Adam Trimingham’s hate list for 2012 (The Argus, February 8), I saw red when he had included the Bee Gees – no goat could reach anywhere near those high notes, whatever Heidi may have been up to.

An idyllic evening at home for me would be chilling out with an ice-cold Coca Cola watching another Morecambe and Wise repeat with the Bee Gees making a guest appearance while flicking through a holiday brochure to see where Ryanair could fly me. Then I wouldn’t have to stay at home freezing because of climate change.

After the TV announcer had kindly wished me a happy evening, I could continue my evening reading an exciting book of true ghost stories I had taken out from a library, and then creep into bed before the bearded bogey man comes to get me on his bike.

Thought Sue's comments were ab fab..."chacun a son gout" as they say on the Continent...whatever people may feel about Adam's sometimes provocative comments, he is my kind of guy who says what he thinks and is not some shrinking violet like so many others we come across today.
