Why the wait?

Further to my letter of February 9, I would like to again draw attention to the drug Tysabri, used to treat multiple sclerosis. I have been waiting to receive Tysabri since October and was put on the list to start this infusion, but at the moment I am still waiting anxiously.

Stress is a major factor that can cause relapses. All I am asking for is a date when I will start the infusion. It isn’t fair to have to wait so long.

Myself and others need to get together to campaign as to why we have to wait for spaces to receive Tysabri. Our quality of life is suffering every day. My neurologist and infusionnurses have been great, as has my MP Simon Kirby. If there are others with MS waiting for this infusion who want to join my campaign, please get in touch.
