ON THE night of Wednesday, February 8, our car was stolen from our locked garage.

Being 80 years old, our vehicle meant a lot to us. It was put away in the garage every night and never left out on the road.

It is a green Volkswagen with DDU on the number plate.

There were many personal things in the car which would be no good to anyone else.

On the night, a man along with a boy of about 13 in a grey hoodie rang our doorbell between10and11pm.Bothwere hanging about on a bitterly cold night in the street. Perhaps they could tell the police what they were up to so they can be eliminated from inquiries?
