I would like to correct Andrew Burnyeat’s assertion (Letters, March 10) that the University of Sussex students who were suspended following an occupation protest on campus “will not get a chance to defend themselves in any kind of hearing”.

The article “Beach made accessible to everyone” (The Argus, March 4) is not strictly true. While Brighton and Hove City Council has purchased two “all-terrain buggies”, these will only make the beach accessible to disabled people who can transfer independently.
