How on earth can Brighton and Hove City Council even consider giving NCP another parking contract?

This company has made Brighton one of the most expensive places in the country to park.

A great night out at the theatre or Brighton Centre is spoilt by the prices charged for using an NCP car park.

Their attendants do not, to put it mildly, fit in with the image the city should be promoting.

They are unsmiling, unhelpful and even arrogant.

Our council claims the new contract will be focused on managing traffic rather than raising revenue.

Figures for 2004 show NCP made £42 million. A nice little earner if you can get it.
