White House Primary School, in North Street, Hailsham is to close its doors at the end of this month and is to be demolished to make way for a Tesco Supermarket.
The new school will open in Marshfoot Lane on April 21, 2008.
To celebrate the history of the school a closing ceremony is to be held on Monday, March 17, at 1.30pm.
The school would like to invite all ex-White House pupils and staff to the event, which will include a slide show and presentation on the history of the school. There will be invited guests who have special links with the school going back generations.
Refreshments will also be provided.
