Dave Groom emails: "My mum, Ivy Groom, nee Wilkes, used to play the accordion regularly with a big band at the Dome Theatre during the 1940s.

"I wondered if any of your readers is able to identify which band this would be, or can suggest further ways in which I can research this. I believe it was one of the very well known dance bands of the time."
