A SUSTAINABLE gym business with facilities in Lancing and Brighton has received a business boost from retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.

Paul Crane, owner of Ecogym in St James Street, Brighton, tweeted Theo about his business during Small Business Sunday and was one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet by Theo to his 500,000 Twitter followers.

The weekly initiative, set up by Theo in 2010, now has 1900 #SBS winners and supports small businesses.

Theo re-tweeted Paul’s message to his 500,000 followers.

Ecogym is now profiled on the #SBS website (www.theopaphitissbs.com) which is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

Paul said: “We recently became the first gym in the world to be certified by Green Circle for our energy saving exploits and sustainable approach to fitness.

“We pioneer change in health and fitness by harnessing human power on site, reducing members’ fees based on how much they work out.”
