Gwendoline Yorke-Johnson

Yorke-Johnson Gwendoline Aged 93 Died peacefully and with dignity on 30th November 2018 in Worthing Hospital after a short illness. Former Licencee of The Bugle Inn, Brighton 1964-1992. Will be sadly missed by Julian, Gill, Simon and their families. The service to remember her life will take place at Worthing Crematorium, Findon on Monday 17th December at 2.40pm. All friends welcome. Floral tributes C/O Derriman and Haynes, 56 Ladies Mile Road, Patcham BN1 8QF by 11am on 17th December.

Hi Julian, Gill and Simon, it was very sad to hear about your mum, Richard saw the announcement let me know... Jan and me have great memories of her and the super times we had at the Bugle. She was not somebody you could forget, quite a character and a 'Lady'.( I remember her telling me off for playing chess) - by the way, about 8 years ago we were looking to buy a place in Worthing, we viewed a bungalow in Findon and we thought, although empty, there were a couple of bits left which we associated with Den and Gwen, the bell and I think a photo - how strange was that, if we were right? Wishing you all well at this difficult time, Steve and Jan Walsh.
