Dr. BARBARA MARSHALL Passed away peacefully at home on 12th July 2019, aged 89. Much loved mother of Mary, Jean, Keith and Fiona. Dearly loved Grandma to Aiden, Rory, George, Shona, Peter, James, Gregor, Zoe & Hannah. Barbara graduated from Birmingham in Medicine in 1956 and sustained full-time work into retirement on Community Medicine & NHS management (Worcs, Herts, Leics). Later she contributed much of her time to volunteer work on behalf of patients in Gloucestershire and East Sussex. Funeral Service at Downs Crematorium, (Main Chapel), Bear Road, Brighton on Thursday 8th August at 3.15pm. Family flowers only please. If desired, donations for Martlets Hospice who, as she wished, cared for Barbara at home, may be sent to Christopher Stringer Funeral Service, 67 High Street, Rottingdean BN2 7HE or made online via www.cpjfield.co.uk/christopher-stringer
