TESTER EDWARD JOHN (TED) A gentle passing, at home on 1st August 2020, in the reassuring company of his loving family. Beloved husband of Pat. Adored Dad of Sue, Steve and Annie. Much loved big brother of Beryl, grandad, father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, cousin, step-grandad, step-great-grandad and friend to so many more throughout his 84 years. Former Sapper with the Royal Engineers (TA). 209 Field Park Squadron. An Old Varndeanian, and subsequently a senior laboratory technician at Varndean VI Form College for over 40 years. Covid constraints dictate a private funeral, taking place at 4pm on 17th August 2020 at the Downs Crematorium, Brighton.
