Merry Kerr-Woodeson

Merry Kerr-Woodeson Lover, fighter, mother, spiritualist, tea drinker, jeweller, gardener, internationalist, labour voter, red wine drinker and daughter of the artist Jack Bilbo. Passed peacefully to spirit 29.01.2021 after a long battle with Parkinson's. Survived by her son the artist Ben Woodeson. Mum would not want you to be glum, she loved joy and colour, good food and red wine; light a candle, hoist a glass, smile and dance like you mean it!

Please accept my condolences. I met Merry when she taught me in 1996 at The SAGB. I often thought of her and had no idea how to contact her, however her personality and vivacious lived in my heart. Today I was speaking with a person who means a great deal to me and Merry sprung to the forefront of my mind. It prompted me to search for her and sadly I found this article. I had hoped to be able to reach out to Merry, however as she is in Spirit, I am conveying my condolences that she is no longer on this plain. On the other hand Merry is spreading her joy where ever she is!! Thank you Merry for believing in me all those years ago.
