BLACK ROCK DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2019
The above Order made on 19 August 2019, was confirmed without modification by Brighton & Hove City Council on 29th October 2019.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the length of footpath described in the Schedule below.
A copy of the confirmed Order and the Order map may be seen free of
charge at Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ from 10am to 4pm Mondays to Fridays and online at:
Copies of the confirmed Order and the Order map may be purchased from
Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove BN3 3BQ at a cost of £5 per copy.
The Order came into force on 29 October 2019 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any
regulations made under it have not been complied with in relation to the
Order he or she may under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act within
42 days from 8 November 2019 make an application to the High Court
Description of footpath
A section of footpath commencing at TQ3328-0328 at the Promenade running in a northerly direction for 44 5 metres to terminate at TQ3329-0333 at Madeira Drive with widths of 5 metres and 2.5 metres.
