The County of Dorset (Various Roads, Westham, Weymouth) (20mph Zone) (No. 2, Order 2019)
Dorset Council has made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
When the order comes into operation on 13 December 2019 the effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph Speed
Zone to include the entire lengths of the following roads in Westham, Weymouth:
Adelaide Crescent, Emmadale Road, Links Road, Shirecroft Road, Bedford Road, Franklin Road, Longcroft Road, Short Road, Berkshire Close, Gelnmore Road, Melborne Street, Somerset Road, Cornwall Close, Heathwood Road, Norfolk Road, Sussex Road, Corporation Road, Hereford Crescent, Oxford Close, Sydney Street, Cromwell Road, Hereford Road, Perth Street, Wessex Road, Devon Road, Highland Road,  Queensland Road, Westhaven, Dorset Close, Holly Road, Quibo Lane, Wiltshire Avenue, East Wyld Road, Kitchener Road, Rutland Road.
Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the lengths of roads affected may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at:- Main Reception, Dorset Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks of the date of this Notice apply tothe High Court for that purpose.

Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion
and
Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order
Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
Dorset Council (Part of Bridleway 42, Kingston Russell at Whatcombe House) Public Path Diversion Order 2019
The above order, made on 08 November 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Bridleway 42, Kingston Russell at Whatcombe House as shown on the order map as follows:-
From the existing way:
From its junction with the D11904 road at SY 57818959, opposite Bridleway 49, Kingston Russell, generally north north east via a steep tarmac driveway and then through three field gates passing three outbuildings, and north into a paddock before crossing into a field to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 42, north of Whatcombe House at SY 57848979. (No recorded width).
To a new way:
From its junction with the D11904 road at SY 57838958, generally north north east across a field to SY 57848965, then north north east along the edge of a second field to SY 57868970 and north and north west through a paddock (via SY 57868971) to SY 57858973. Continue north north west along the edge of another field to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 42, north of Whatcombe House at SY 57848979.
Width: Between SY 57838958 and SY 57848979 is 4 metres. Limitations: Field gates at SY 57838958, SY 57848965 and SY 57868970, Bridle gate at SY 57858973, all to BS5709:2018.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Dorset Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order. Temporary Closure of Public Footpath 24, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along public footpath 24, Weymouth from grid reference SY 684 826 to grid reference SY 684 824, for approximately 150 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimisethe likelihood of dangerto Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 09 December 2019, for a period of 26 weeks. This order can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The Order is required to allow to impermeant planning permission WP/17/000832. On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.

conviction to a fine not exceeding £1,000.

All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Public Bridleway 21, from grid reference SY 684 826 to grid reference SY 684 825, approximately 135 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimisethe likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 09 December 2019, for a period of 26 weeks. This order can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
