ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER -EDWARD STREET, BRIGHTON

1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 27th October 2021 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-



(a) The Temporary Suspension of the Cycle Lane on Edward Street in both directions between John Street and White Street eastbound, and between Chapel Street and George Street westbound.



(b) The Temporary Suspension of the Westbound Bus Lane on Edward Street, Brighton, between Dorset Place and George Street.



2. The Order is necessary to allow new utility connections to be installed.



3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.



4. This Order comes into force on 1 November 2021 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be 10 December 2021.
