TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - KING GEORGE VI AVENUE, HOVE
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-

(a) The temporary prohibition of Southbound Traffic on King George VI Avenue, Hove, for its entire length

(b) For the duration of this closure it is necessary to close the following roads at their junction with King George VI Avenue, Hove:
Goldstone Crescent and Nevill Road

2. The Order is necessary to allow contractors to carry out resurfacing works.

3. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and there will be a diversion route for southbound vehicles in place.

4. This Order comes into force on 21st February 2022 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is estimated to be 4th March 2022.
