Advert for land at Newhaven Proposed Disposal Of Open Space The former Lewes Road Landfill Site, known as Riverside Park, situated to the east of Lewes Road, Newhaven, East Sussex.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123(1), (2A) NOTICE is given that East Sussex County Council intends to dispose of land having an area of approximately 47.2 acres and which forms the land known as Riverside Park, Lewes Road, Newhaven, East Sussex. A plan of the land mentioned above will be kept at County Hall, Lewes. The proposed disposal is the sale of the freehold of the land for the following main use:
Development of a leisure park and related services. Representations in respect of the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to: David Baughan Head of Strategic Property East Sussex County Council County Hall, St Anne's Crescent Lewes, BN7 1UE by no later than 12 noon on Friday 18 January 2013.
