BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - CASTLE STREET, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 27th March 2017 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
(a) The temporary closure of Castle Street its junction with Preston Street eastwards for approximately 30 metres.
(b) During the closure to maintain access to premises in both Stone Street and the remaining length of Castle Street both existing one way traffic orders will be suspended.
2. The Order is necessary to allow Contractors to carry out works to install a new sewer connection.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 10th April 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed. Dated 27th March 2017. Nick Hibberd,
