BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – Atlingworth Street
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:- (a) Prohibit traffic in Atlingworth Street from its junction with Marine Parade northwards for approx. 25 metres (b) Suspend the existing one-way working in the remaining length of Atlingworth Street to maintain access to the rest of the street. 2. The Order is necessary to maintain the safety of Highway users due to a collapse in the carriageway at its southern end. 3. Pedestrian access will be maintained. 4. This Order comes into force on 25th April 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the repair works are completed. Dated 18th April 2017.
