BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - ATLINGWORTH STREET
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 25th. April 2017 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
(a) Prohibit traffic in Atlingworth Street from its junction with Marine Parade northwards for approx. 25 metres
(b) Suspend the existing one-way working in the remaining length of
Atlingworth Street to maintain access to the rest of the street.
2. The Order is necessary to maintain the safety of Highway users due to a
collapse in the carriageway at its southern end.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 25th. April 2017 for
eighteen months or until such sooner time as the
repair works are completed. Dated 25th April 2017.
