TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - WHITEHAWK HILL ROAD, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect:-
(a) The Temporary Prohibition of Northbound Traffic on Whitehawk Hill Road, between its junction with Upper Abbey Road and its junction with Walpole Road, except for emergency services.
(b) An alternative route for traffic will be via Upper Abbey Road and Walpole Road.
2.The Order is necessary to enable the safe movement of traffic in and out of the Royal Sussex County Hospital car park from the West end of the North Service Road
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
4. This Order comes into force on 12 June 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
