TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - LYNCHET CLOSE, BRIGHTON
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 4th September 2017 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
Introduce No waiting at any time restrictions over the following lengths
of Lynchet Close:
(a) North east side, from its junction with the eastern kerb line of Brentwood Road, south eastwards for a distance of 70m.
(b) South west side, from its junction with the eastern kerb line of Brentwood Road, south eastwards for a distance of 70m.
2.The Order is necessary to maintain unobstructed vehicle access along Lynchet Close whilst construction vehicles service the adjacent Lynchet
Close Housing Scheme.
3.The footway on the southern side of Lynchet Close shall be closed from a point 24m south east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of Brentwood Road, to a point 65m south east of that kerbline. Pedestrian access will be maintained through the footway on the northern side of Lynchet Close.
4. This Order comes into force on 4th September 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works
are completed. "
