BRIGHTON AND HOVE CITY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER - EATON ROAD AND TISBURY ROAD
1. NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect-Dated 16th October 2017.
(a) The temporary closure of Eaton Road westbound from its junction of The Drive to its junction of Tisbury Road
(b) The temporary closure of the southbound entrance into Tisbury Road from its junction of Eaton Road
(c) The temporary prohibition of Right Turn movement from The Drive (southbound) into Eaton Road (westbound)
2.The Order is necessary to allow Southern Water's contractors to carry out repairs to a damaged sewer in the carriageway.
3. Pedestrian access will be maintained and vehicles traveling northwards will be diverted via The Drive, Cromwell Road, Eaton Gardens and southwards will be diverted via The Drive, Church Road, Tisbury Road
4. This Order comes into force on 16th October 2017 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed.
