GENEROUS shoppers dug deep when they donated scores of toys to charity.
Kind-hearted customers at Asda in Hollingbury left the toys in a collection point inside the store. They were collected by Asda’s Martyn Gallon and Kerry Ancell for donation to The Argus Appeal – this newspaper’s charity.
The appeal supports people, other charities and community projects across Sussex in need of a helping hand.
Thanks to donations from the likes of Asda and its customers, the appeal raises a minimum of £200,000 each year, every penny of which is spent locally.
