THE BANK Holiday weekend is almost upon us and with it one last chance to soak up the summer sunshine with the whole family.
But what’s going on across Brighton and Sussex for you to enjoy?
The Argus has compiled a list of events you won’t want to miss.
Newick Food Fair, Newick Green - Monday 11am-4pm
The fair is making its return on Monday, raising funds for St Peter and James Hospice.
Visitors can expect over 20 different stalls with locally grown and produced street food, a picnic area and demonstrations - including cocktail making.
Pet sheep and a goat will also be making an appearance at the fair.
The Love of Music Festival, Shelter Hall, Brighton - all weekend
Shelter Hall on Brighton’s seafront will be celebrating the final days of summer in style with a four-day music festival, with live musical performances, complimentary Rose and a lot of glitter. The event will boast all the best parts of a summer festival, without the camping or portaloos, with DJs, a glitter bar, and even a children’s face painter on Monday.
Patcham Duck Fayre, Patcham Junior and High School Fields - Sunday 11am-4:30pm
After a brief absence due to the pandemic, Patcham is going duck crazy once again with its biggest community celebration.
Expect all the fun of the fayre with live performers, craft and bric-a-brac stalls, a dog show, food and barbecue, and a beer tent for thirsty parents.
Local businesses and organisations will also be present, alongside traditional fairground rides.
Bank Holiday Weekend Extravaganza, The Hope and Ruin, Brighton - Monday 8-11pm
If you love live music, you won’t want to miss this event.
Acts at The Hope and Ruin on Bank Holiday Monday will include Yoga Death Cult, Man Like Malcolm, and special guest actor and comedian Kevin Bishop.
Proceeds from the event will be going to Knight Support, a charity that provides help and support to the homeless community in Brighton and Hove, so you can support a great cause while you enjoy the tunes.
Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Bluebell Railway, Uckfield - Saturday-Monday 9:30am-5pm
If you go down to the Bluebell Railway, be sure for a big surprise…
Children can bring their teddy bears along for a picnic and a trip on the Victorian steam railway, with free travel to all those who bring their cuddly companions with them.
Youngsters can also go on a bear hunt once they finish their picnic at Kingscote Station.
Arundel Festival of the Arts, Arundel - concludes on Bank Holiday Monday
This ten-day festival celebrating the arts with community events comes to a triumphant close this weekend, with orchestra classics from Beethoven, Mozart and Elgar, as well as live performances of jazz classics that everyone will enjoy.

Goodwood Racecourse - Friday-Sunday
Presented by streaming service Now, Goodwood Racecourse promises fun for all the family this Bank Holiday weekend.
Visitors can expect music from rock and roll to a DJ set by Carl Cox, a petting zoo, traditional fairground rides and, of course, horse racing - including the Group 2 Celebration Mile.
