Older people will have police to thank for a bit of festive cheer.
Every year Brighton and Hove City councillors Dawn Barnett and Tony Janio hold a series of Christmas parties for the vulnerable in Hangleton and Knoll.
This year’s fund has been kick started with a £250 donation from Sussex Police .
Businesses and firms in the area are also invited to contribute.
