Rottingdean Village Hall was turned back in time yesterday as it hosted ‘The Very Vintage Fair’.

The event which takes place twice-yearly is set up by Rottingdean business woman Elif Kose-Feest.

Elif, 28, who owns a tailoring, alterations and repairs shop in Rottingdean said: “The idea was to bring more people to Rottingdean. Originally I was going to do it yearly but last time it was so successful and I‘d been asked so many times when am I doing the next one.”

The fair was made up of stalls from 18 different vintage traders selling items including vintage clothing, accessories, shoes and fabrics.

A vintage style tea shop was in full swing at the back of the hall and throughout the day were performances from ‘Rockin Mark Viz’ on the piano and ‘Beside the Seaside Productions’ with a preview of their singing and dancing French show.

The next vintage fair will be held in November.
