ALL the benefits of living at Abingworth Meadows, where luxury homes sit comfortably alongside the new cricket pitch, sports amenities and new village hall, and surrounded by the evergreen countryside of Thakeham, are now available from just £419,950.

A new three bedroom show house will open its doors for the first time on Saturday, September 29 to showcase the latest release of homes which will feature the high standard of specification for which Abingworth Meadows has become known.

Offering excellent value and outstanding design, The Betony house style features a living room which spans the full width of the property and a kitchen/dining room equipped with stone worktops and Smeg appliances. Upstairs both the master bedroom and second double bedroom are fitted with wardrobes, while the third bedroom could easily become a study or hobbies room if required.

The houses at Abingworth Meadows have been created by award-winning housebuilder, Oakford Homes, with the countryside setting as well as the practicalities of modern living in mind. The layouts, whether of the two, three, four or five bedroom houses, all maximise space and light and are equally well suited to families, professional couples or empty nesters planning to downsize in size but not in quality.

Daisy Clark, senior interior designer at Phoenix Interior Design of Ockley, near Dorking, said: “The surrounding countryside and open fields were the main sources of inspiration behind the interior design for this brand new show home.

“With such a fantastic setting combining both natural setting and new sports and outdoor facilities, we wanted to bring the outdoors inside.”

Daisy chose a palette of soft greys offset with an accent colour of a strong forest green. Natural fabrics have been chosen for texture and the overall impression is designed to appeal to the senses.

She said: “I’m really proud of the way the whole interior design flows so well and we’ve included lots of interesting aspects to catch the eye of viewers but if I had to pick my favourite piece, it would be a chest of drawers in the children’s bedroom.

“Abingworth Meadows is set on the site of a what was once a mushroom farm so the chest which has been made specially for this show house. I’ve designed it to be finished with colourful woodland creatures as well as a toadstool to reflect its past.”

The new show home opens next Saturday, September 29 at 10am at Abingworth Meadows, Storrington Road, Thakeham. For further information contact the sales and marketing suite, open daily from 10am to 5pm, on 01798 813071 or email thakeham@oakfordhomes.co.uk
