A BUNGALOW with panoramic sea views is up for auction with a £1 million guide price.

The three-bedroom home in Ainsworth Avenue, Ovingdean, is listed for auction by Clive Emson Auctioneers on Wednesday, September 22.

People are open to bid on the property now and only the most successful bidder will get their hands on the large property.

Richard Payne, senior auction appraiser and auctioneer, says the large bungalow has “significant development potential”.

It reads: “This is rare opportunity to acquire a spacious detached bungalow in an elevated position with panoramic sea views in the picturesque village of Ovingdean.

“It stands in just over a third-of-an-acre and there is potential to develop the land or extend the existing property, subject to obtaining all the necessary consents.

“The bungalow has a southerly aspect and provides generous accommodation with double glazing, a gas heating system via radiators and a detached garage with adjoining workshop.”

While the pictures show the property is in need of renovation, it has a spacious living room and large kitchen.

There are gardens on three sides extending to 0.15 hectares (0.38 acres), with a driveway, parking area and detached garage with adjoining workshop.

There is also the possibility to extend the property, according to the auctioneers.

Clive Emson Auctioneers holds auctions eight times a year offering specialist advice for auction purposes with offices in Brighton.

The next auction is on Wednesday, September 22.
