THE familiar high rise tower blocks which dominate Brighton’s skyline were brand new back in the 1960s.
This photo from 50 years ago of the view from Montague Street shows the first two of the unmistakable tower blocks being erected.
Now the old period buildings have made way and other high-rises have joined them in commanding the landscape.
