MICHAEL Ball and Alfie Bow are back on tour and the dynamic singing duo have confirmed they are going back out on tour, which includes a date in Brighton.

The show is sure to sell out quickly, so make sure you grab a ticket, reports Chiara Tomasoni.

THEY are back at last and musical duo Michael Ball and Alfie Boe have missed each other as much as their loyal fans have missed them.

Both singers have been extremely busy, with hugely successful solo albums, sell-out tours and both are currently starring in the hugely-successful Les Misérables in the West End.

The pair have also just released their highly-anticipated third studio album Back Together, which is out now on Decca Records.

Fans will now be able to hear these newly-recorded tracks live as the duo embark upon a major arena tour across the country, including a date at Brighton Centre on March 6.

Back Together follows the phenomenal success of the duo’s previous two duet albums; Together, their debut, which became the UK’s best-selling album of 2016 and beat the likes of Little Mix and The Rolling Stones to the Christmas number one spot.

The follow-up entitled Together Again proved equally successful and brought the pair yet another number one album in 2017.

After decorated careers in theatre and opera, Ball and Boe were suddenly chart superstars.

Presented

As a duo, they have now sold more than one million albums in the UK, received two Classic Brit Awards, sold out two headline arena tours and presented two ITV specials.

Regular TV and stage performer as well as BBC Radio 2 host Michael Ball kick-started his career by representing Britain at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song One Step Out of Time.

After reprising his role as Marius in Les Misérables, he went on to become a significant West End figure, appearing in shows such as Passion and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to name a few.

With regard to the newly released album, the actor, singer and broadcaster said in a Twitter post: “We had so much fun making this album and we are so proud of it.”

Alfie Boe is best known for his performances as Jean Valjean in the long-running and hugely-successful Les Misérables and for his three sold-out UK Tours.

He has previously achieved platinum album sales in Britain, as well as four top ten album placings.

In anticipation of the start of the new tour, which is bound to be a sell-out once again, Boe stated: “It’s true! Michael Ball and I are #BackTogether and are going back on tour next year.

“You really don’t want to miss out. We can’t wait to see you there.”

He added: “The support so far for Back Together has been incredible.

“Thank you so much for your support.”

Spokeswoman for the duo, Nicole Otero, said: “They’re back. The world’s ultimate musical duo, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, have missed each other, and we have missed them.

“Both singers have been extremely busy, with hugely successful solo albums, sell-out tours and both currently starring in the West End.

“But it is the combination of these two arresting voices and personalities which proves to be irresistible to countless fans across the nation as they perform everyone’s favourite songs.”

Michael Ball and Alfie Boe will be appearing at the Brighton Centre on Friday, March 6. It is the penultimate date of their tour.
