The X Factor graduates star in an enjoyable night that sounds like the ultimate karaoke party playlist.

Ben Haenow, Fleur East, Andrea Faustini, Lauren Platt, Stereo Kicks, Stevi Ritchie, Only The Young and Jay James have their turn in the spotlight to repeat favourite songs from the TV talent show.

Runner-up Fleur bursts on to the stage with Macklemore’s Can’t Hold Us. Her stage presence is electric, especially during Uptown Funk.

Although a good singer, Lauren does not have enough charisma to pull off her ballad-heavy set which leads to a lull in atmosphere.

Jay sounds better than he did on TV with Skyfall and eight-piece boyband Stereo Kick’s rendition of Run is surprising atmospheric. Only The Young have a blast during the lively Be Like You and Stevi’s tongue-in-cheek performance of Bohemian Rhapsody is as hilarious as it is awful.

Unrivalled when it comes to pure vocal talent, Andrea sings Beyonce’s Listen with enviable ease and Chandelier by Sia is sensational.

Winner Ben does not disappoint. His natural likeability and rock vocals are best showcased in ACDC’s Highway to Hell and Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud.

Despite the stigma attached to manufactured pop, there are some fantastic vocals and memorable performances.
